Installation instructions for HID conversion kits

The HID conversion kits may be illegal in some countries and are sold off road or show use only. Check with your local BMV for further information.
Useful information and installation tips:

Do not touch the HID bulb. If you touch the lamp during installation, clean with alcohol.

Never look directly at the bulb when it is on, because that may cause permanent damage to your eyes.

Headlights must be properly adjusted after installation. HID lights are much brighter than halogen bulbs. Not for the lamps, can reduce the visibility of traffic coming in the opposite direction, due to reflections. If you do not know how to adjust the lights, please consult a professional.

Do not drop or apply excessive force or unnecessary components HID because it can cause damage to them. If damage is found, stop use and contact your dealer. Do not use the system until the problem is resolved, to avoid electric shock or fire possible.

The HID system generates 23000volts when activated. Do not use wet or oily hands during installation or inspection system. Or you may be subject to serious burns or electric shock.

Make sure all connectors and cables are protected and far from any hot surface. The wires are loose or leaning over a hot surface can cause electrical hazards.

Do not light the lamp near flammable materials when it is outside the housing of the flashlight.

Do not turn lights on / off fast. This can shorten bulb life.

Do not install the HID system in the housing cracked. Wet Bulb can damage or cause electrical shock.

Before the installation before the end of testing all components. Ensuring compatibility for connecting all cables and ignition systems.

Note: special adapters, connectors, modules and harnesses be required to install HID system correctly on some vehicles. Make sure you have everything you need for your vehicle. BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Dodge / Chrysler and Volkswagen These are just some who need special installation materials in May.
Single Beam Installation Instructions:

Make sure the HID conversion kit that they have received all necessary components for installation (a list of available components below)

Disconnect the car battery.

Remove the factory light bulbs. If your vehicle's headlights have dust caps, remove them too.

If your vehicle is equipped with dust covers lights, drill 1 "(24mm) hole to accommodate the wiring.

Remove cover HID xenon bulb protection. Be careful not to touch the bulb. Manage by its plastic base. If any grease or dirt the bulb is clean with a cloth soaked in alcohol.

Insert the Xenon HID headlight bulb in and fix it.

Connect the spade terminals (positive and negative) to the cable factory torch.

Insert the rubber boot (on the wiring harness) through the hole in the lid (which was drilled earlier).

Connect the bulb to the ballast. The Quick release, "click" once fully guaranteed.

Find a mounting location for the ballast. Use the medium of ballast, screws or zip-ties, if necessary. Note: Do not puncture holes in the ballast box, Mont move away from the elements and driving safety.

Check the fuse for lights his vehicle. Make sure it is rated to 20A or higher. Replace the fuse with a fuse of 20 amps if the fuse is a flagship document below.

Reconnect the battery cables.

Turn on the light switch and allow the new xenon your long-term 10 minutes.

Verify that HID conversion kit which have received all necessary components for installation (a list of components available below)

Remove all connectors and HID bulbs and clean the connectors with alcohol

Install HID in housing

Connect the control cables high beam (small rectangular connector)

Connect the ballasts to the Hi / Lo bridge cables (oval connectors with yellow rubber stamps)

Connect the 3 pin in the wiring harness to one catch Headlight

Connect the thick red wire to positive Battery

Connect the thick black cable to the negative cable from the battery or ground

Monte clean ballast and wiring harness with links

Turn the switch on lights and leave your new xenon light to run for 10 minutes

Adjust your low lights:

Park on a level surface 20 feet behind another car and turn on your headlights.

Make sure the beam is cut just above the bumper of the vehicle head. (Please refer to the photo below)

To ensure that both headlights are still tight, if Please turn on the lights directly against a flat wall 20 feet and adjust the lights until the two lines leading up cutting.

Problem Resolution:
The flickering during the pre-test or warning lamp: Some vehicles measuring the resistance of the bulb connection factory.
