CSR (LSE: CSR) today announced that i.Tech s stylish 'Clip D-Radio Bluetooth headset features the industry's first silicon Plan CSR BlueCore5 Multimedia. The Clip D-Radio Stereo Headset is the world's first to support the specification v2.1 + EDR Bluetooth and offers free transmission wire high-quality audio from a phone, music player or its built in FM radio. The high quality stereo Bluetooth headset uses CSR BlueCore5 multimedia-equipped with integrated DSP, offering flexible architecture and Clear Voice Capture (CVC) technology for echo and noise suppression to provide users with the best audio experience for music or phone calls. CSR silicon also ensures iTech headset is interoperable with the widest range of Bluetooth devices.
CSR BlueCore Multimedia products are the only Bluetooth ICs on the market to integrate a high performance DSP. CSR has designed BlueCore5-Multimedia to provide exceptional audio performance headphones for your stereo codec providing 95dB SNR. BlueCore5 Multimedia Architecture DSP allows designers to flexibly add additional features to help boost performance and functionality of their designs end (such as FM radio in i.Tech 's Clip D-Radio). The radio transmits BlueCore5-Multimedia to 8 dBm and receives at-90dBm which eliminates interference when you make a call. Combined with technology CVC CSR, owner of the improved audio quality, the Clip D-Radio will provide users with crystal clear sound despite the surrounding noise.
The CSR's Bluetooth technology and highly efficient compact i-Tech has helped develop a small form factor headset weighing just 21.5g. By integrating high quality OLED display, i.Tech 's headset allows users to see who's calling before you answer, and allow navigation between stations FM radio. In addition to displaying missed calls and the battery connection and update the state, the Clip D-Radio includes a dial function to allow users to store up to ten numbers and allows users to configure four favorite radio stations. The Clip D-Radio is also the first Bluetooth headset mode present a three-ring alert for users to differentiate between incoming calls and can be easily recharged by USB Port PC.
i.Tech 's Clip D-benefits of high performance radio technology on CSR's BlueCore5 Multimedia with Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) for lower power consumption. By collaborating with CSR, Itech has reached up to seven hours of broadcast-quality audio time or up to 150 hours standby time, while that for radio headsets. To support the latest Bluetooth specification v2.1 + EDR, the headset is compatible with the A2DP and AVRCP profiles to enable connectivity to a wide variety of music sources whilst maintaining the ability to easily switch between phone calls and stereo music.
