How Make Your Own Gadget-Powered Battery Chargers

With a few AA batteries and a portion of $ 5, anyone can improvise emergency mobile charger phone. Here's how, and how to develop their skills to create working digital cameras start laptops and even power tools.

1. A document acts as a clip on / off. Simply pull one end of the plateau metal in contact with the battery to kill power. 2. Clip red tank umbilical cord phone battery battery positive metal contact, and the black wire to negative. 3 others. DIY charger has no way of current limiting or preventing overheating. Therefore, a cost limit of 10 minutes, and remove if it starts to get hot.

There is no magic a cell phone charger. It is a little over a plastic strip of copper wire wound designed to provide power (voltage and resigned DC is, of course) of a solution to the phone's battery.

So, if an emergency occurs and you are not charging or making it MacGyver is really easy to set up a device that uses AA batteries to give the phone quickly enough juice to make an emergency call a few. All process, which resembles a miniature version to launch a car, take a few minutes and using parts that can be found at Radio Shack for a total less than $ 5.

To do this yourself, you need: a few AA batteries, a battery of four AA tray, metal clip and two alligator clips. It all, and the finished product must be able to charge almost any phone (with the notable exception of the iPhone, which has not easily removable battery) if you are waiting in the desert or a power outage.

Check voltage

The first step is to check the voltage of the battery of the phone. Most clock in around 3.7 volts, but you must leave the phone and read the fine print to do with security. This information allows you to calculate the number of AA batteries you need. The key is to use enough barely exceed the power of the phone battery and do not use less there is enough juice to charge the battery, but to connect too many and burned. 1.5 V AA batteries each, in order to recharge a battery 3.7 Volt requires a combination of three of them, for a total of 4.5 volts.

Pop batteries in the tray of AA. Is it a plate of four of the battery, so you have to put something in the last slot of AA to complete the circuit. This is where the clip is very handy. Deployment and the end is a hook through metal spring to the negative end of the empty slot. Then Take the other end and leans over to touch the metal contact outside the ferry on the positive side niche.

This clip will act as a sort of switch on / off, as it is in contact with the spring and the metal contact, energy flow and charger lights.

To turn off the charger, simply by moving one end of the trombone on one of the contacts.

In an emergency, homemade battery chargers can be used to power other devices too. And while some devices may require more batteries, plus C or D cells or a larger battery tray, the process is basically the same as for phones. The number of batteries need to charge gadgets most common. Make sure it's an emergency. An urgent need to update your Facebook photo may not be worth the risk process poses to your laptop or camera.

Power Hook Up

For our gadgets to work, plug in the battery holder on the phone. The field has two cables of him: a red wire current carrying the positive terminal and a current setting in black Back to the negative terminal of the battery. Crimp or solder a red alligator clip to the red wire and a black alligator clip to the black wire. If a voltmeter is available, connecting clips so you can confirm that your batteries are providing the correct voltage.

Now look carefully at the phone battery. A series of metal contacts are used to suck electricity. There must be a positive (+) next to one of them, and a negative (-) side by side. (Please Note that most phone batteries containing three or more contacts, but you can ignore the rest of them. And if the marks were not positive or negative, a voltmeter will tell who is who).

Take precautions to ensure that the two prongs of contact with each other, the closure of the red alligator clip to the side of the battery so that its metal jaws touching the metal contacts are positive and the black terminal off the battery so that it touches the negative.

Battery is charging. But beware: As this mechanism has not built a fortune in the form of current limiting or protection against overheating, you'll want to keep an eye (and fingers) on it to make sure not too hot. If the battery phone starts to heat up, turn away, because you could damage it. And there are other reasons why you should try if you do not choice: the process may constitute a breach of warranty, and sharp claws can scratch plastic housing of the battery. And, of course, I recommend not to use this method to charge the battery for more than 10 minutes at a time. When finished, the battery in the phone and start dialing. With some AA batteries and a portion of $ 5, anyone can improvise a cell phone charger emergency. Here's how, and how to develop construction skills for working in startup digital cameras, laptops and even power tools.

1. A clip acts as a switch On / Off. Simply pull one end of the battery contact metal plate power to kill. 2. Clip Tray Red cord from your positive battery contact metal of the battery and the black wire to the other negative. 3. DIY charger has no way to limit the current and prevent overheating. Therefore, limited to 10 minutes in the office, and remove when it starts to get hot.

There is no magic to a mobile charger. It is a little over a plastic strip of copper wire wound designed to provide power (resigned and became a DC voltage of course) an outlet for the phone battery.

So should an emergency product and you find yourself without your charger or an outlet work, it is really easy to MacGyver up a device that uses AA batteries to give the phone quickly enough juice to make an emergency call a few. And deployment by one end of the metal spring clip on the side negative of the empty slot. Then take the other end and fold it touches the metal contact at the outer shelf on the positive side of the wafer.

This clip will act as a sort of on / off, as it is in contact with the spring and the metal contact, energy will flow and the charger comes on.

To turn off the charger, while one end of the clip away from one contacts.

In an emergency, battery chargers at home can be used for other peripherals Energy well. And while some devices may require more batteries, more cells or a CD or a plateau in the large battery, the process is basically the same as for phones. The number of batteries you need to load other common devices. Make sure it's an emergency. Power Hook Up

For our gadgets to work, taking the plate of the phone's battery. The field has two cables from him: a red cable driving current from the positive terminal of the battery and a current setting back black to the negative terminal of the battery. Crimp or solder red alligator clip to the red wire and a black alligator clip to the black wire. If a voltmeter is available, the clips so you can confirm that your batteries are providing the correct voltage.

Now look carefully at the battery phone. Have a series of metal contacts used to absorb electricity. There must be a positive (+) next one of them, and a negative (-) side by side. (Note that most phone batteries contain three or more contacts, but you can ignore the rest of them. And if brands do not have positive or negative, a voltmeter tell which is which).

Taking care to ensure that both clips are not in contact with each other, closing the red alligator clip on the side of the battery so that its metal jaws are in contact positive metal contact, and the black clamp off the battery so it touches the negative.
